1.strengthening the fellowship and brotherhood among members, working to raise the level of orthopaedic surgery, creating the great spirit of scientific research and cooperation ,exchanging the experiences and information ,and keeping abreast of the scientific development ,remedially, preventively, and technically.
2.Working on organization and regulation of practicing the profession of orthopaedic surgery ,in cooperation with the competent health authorities.
3. Workin to raise the scientific level of the members and to encourage on lining education .
4.Praticipting and establishing cooperative relations with the Arab ,regional, and international counterpart Associations and unions.
5.Organization courses ,seminars ,workshops, and conferences in the field of orthopaedic surgery.
6.Issuing a medical journal or publication majoring in publishing the research and studying that relate to areas of the Association concernment .
7.Establishing a particular headquarters for the Association .
8.Establishing a scientific library and working to provide the specialized references and periodicals with providing the helping means for the scientific research and continuing education .
9.Working on preparing the opportunities for the scientific research and finding specialized scholarships for their candidates to cooperate with the syndicate of Doctors, Ministry of health, the universities of Yemen, and any other authorities that related to.
10.Contributing with the syndicate of Doctors and Ministry of Health to find solution for the medical problems at diseases and orthopaedic surgery ,and participating in campaigns of the a awareness and prevention.
11.Organizing and establishing the Yemeni annual conference for orthopaedic surgery
12.Protection the profession from strangers , personators, and charlatans .
